About Melinda

I'm an energetic mother and grandmother, and have over 20 years experience as a teacher. I can help with transportation, meals, laundry, light housework, and more. Most recent work experience: In the last two years I was blessed to work as a nanny for two of the nicest families! One family has a sweet baby. (care ended because they moved away, but they left a positive review below) The other family had three wonderful children, and care ended because they started school full-time. For many years I've taken classes in CPR, Epipen and First Aid, and received those certifications. Fun Fact: I'm a published author of several kid's books that are both funny and educational. For over 20 years I was a Montessori teacher for children ages 2-6. I primarily focused on making learning fun and enhancing children's self-esteem. I also believe that listening to a child, and honoring their thoughts and feelings, is vital for their healthy development and happiness.
