About Melissa

I've spent the past decade, providing care and support to seniors and adults with disabilities. My background includes healthcare experience as a CMA and in-home care, including IHSS. Most of the individuals I've worked with are older adult or those with ADA needs. I always bring a warm, respectful presence to every home-putting my best foot forward in honoring each person's dignity, comfort, and preferences. I offer both medical and non-medical services. Non-medical support may include housekeeping, meal prep, errands, bathing, dressing, hygiene, and more. Medical services can range from medication management and wound care to catheter care, vital signs, and glucose checks. I'm also well-versed in mobility and transfer techniques ( manual, gailt belt, hoyer lift or transfer board). If your needs fall outside these areas, I'm a quick study and happy to adapt. My goal is to provide individualized care that meets you where you are.
