Melissa worked with us for the last 18 months caring for our dear friend Catherine who suffered with MSA. As Catherine’s disease progressed her needs progressed as well. Melissa was a wonderful companion, full of stories of adventure and family that kept Catherine entertained. Melissa was our night time care giver so was responsible to transition from the recliner to wheelchair to bed. She gave snacks, desserts, meds, took blood pressure, brushed teeth, pottied, changed into PJs all to ready Catherine for bed. Melissa’s humor, sweet and gentle spirit was a highlight to Catherine’s day. I would highly recommend Melissa as she is reliable and responsible as well as joyful and compassionate.
