I am a stay at home momma and entrepreneur looking for to have a child around my child's age come to us for care. My child is a 8 yr old girl . Currently I can take a child age 4 or older who is potty trained. Ideal match would be someone with a child of similar age looking for after school care, someone who just needs a few hours during the day while my child is in school, or someone looking for the occasional date night. I am an ex public school teacher and still teach swim and dance lessons to kids; I have many years of experience with children. Note my rate is also dependent on how far I travel and how many hours. For example if it's just an hour or two would need to charge a higher rate vs near me for several hours , willing to drop off at my house or. more regular job. Melissa is a caring, kind, and genuine individual. We hired her to care for our son after school a few days a week, and we couldn’t be happier. Our son already loves her and her daughter. Melissa communicates clearly and efficiently. She is direct, thoughtful, and very empathetic. She truly understands how stressful it can be for parents to find someone they trust to care for their children. She actively engages with our son, plays with him, and plans fun, age-appropriate activities that he really enjoys. She also does a great job sending updates and keeping us informed. So far, we have been extremely happy with the care she provides for our 4-year-old, and I would absolutely recommend her.
