About Melissa

For over 20 years, I've been a stay-at-home mom to four children, giving me extensive experience nurturing kids' potential and supporting their growth. I'm familiar with Montessori, traditional, and homeschooling approaches and comfortable working with children who learn differently. I provide reliable care that adapts to each child's unique nature. My creativity and warmth help me connect with kids through outdoor activities, games, and hands-on learning. I'm confident enforcing household rules and use always humor to keep situations light and manageable. I communicate with parents in their preferred way and am glad to help with light cooking, carpooling, housekeeping, and extracurricular activities. I also have four years of college experience in psychology and film, which reflect both sides of my personality: empathic and analytical as well as creative and imaginative. I strive to create a supportive environment where children can thrive through learning, play, and exploration.
