About Melissa

My skills include caring for children of all ages, supporting neurodivergent and autistic children, designing creative learning activities, preparing meals/light cleaning, driving children safely, and I am CPR/first aid trained. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, warm, and playful. I like working with kids because I enjoy being around them. I love creating a fun, caring environment and finding everyday ways to help them learn and grow I'm looking for a job where I can support a family's values and routines while helping children feel happy, safe, and cared for. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. In my spare time, I like hiking, gardening, playing the flute and guitar, and creating arts and crafts. I am dependable and attentive, and I take pride in creating a calm, positive environment where children can feel comfortable and thrive.
