I love their wisdom and to learn from them. Personally, my grandparents hold a very precious place in my heart, and I try to treat all of my patients with the same love and dedication that I would if they were my very own family member! I started caring for seniors 6 yrs ago when my boyfriend's father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I quit my job and moved him into our home and cared for him a little over 2 yrs. I then realized how much passion I had to care for others who struggle to care for themselves both physically and emotionally. In my spare time, I like to play with my dogs, go fishing with my boyfriend and BBQ with my grown children and our friends.

Melissa is very attentive and caring. She cares about my father's emotional needs as well as his physical needs. She has an amazing way of communicating with him that encourages him to do his best without bossing him around. She always brings a smile. She has such a loving and caring way about her that instills confidence in leaving my father with her. I know he will be well cared for.
