About Melissa

Growing up in a rural area of the Midwest, I have always had a variety of animals. My love for all critters has only grown over the years. I have owned dogs of all sizes with a variety of temperaments, personalities and needs. My greatest love was my 160lb ball of fluff rescue that gave me a run for my money when he spotted a squirrel. I am able to handle large dogs, and have the stamina to provide longer walks. I have fostered dogs that endured abuse and neglect, and understand the patience needed to build trust. As a social worker visiting client homes, I often received praise in the manner in which I quickly built rapport with their pets. I also currently have cats in my household. They would likely attest to receiving exceptional care. I am also available to care for most other types of critters you may have in your home. You can truly count on me to provide the type of care you expect and to treat your home with respect while doing so.
