About Mel

Hi I'm Mel! I am a full-time early childhood educator looking for part-time babysitting/childcare work. I have worked with pre-K kids for 4 years. I also have 2 years of experience working with infants and with older children. I am clean, communicative, and punctual. I try to bring a gentle and loving attitude to babysitting. I'd describe my personality as honest, caring, and silly. I like working with kids because they always surprise me. I'm looking for a job that is flexible around my current work schedule. I started working with kids when I was 18. After taking a break to attend college, I came back to working with children in 2020. In my spare time, I like to knit, go for nature walks, play with my cats, and read. One thing you should know about me is I am a musician! My skills include cooking and smooth bedtime routines.
