Mercedes has been the greatest blessing to our family. As first-time parents, we wanted an experienced nanny who could also grow with us as we figured out what kind of parents we would be. When we first interacted with Mercedes, we quickly understood that her genuine love for babies was the most important quality to us. Z (our then 2 month old) sensed this, and immediately fell in love with her, as did we! We interviewed dozens of nannies before meeting Mercedes, and we are SO thankful that we held out for her. Mercedes has been everything we wished for and more. She takes the absolute best care of our son, has the utmost respect for our home, and has become part of our family. She has gone above and beyond countless times to calm or reassure anxious first-time parents. Not to mention the above and beyond she does for our son, such as staying late when he's having too much fun with his friends, let him nap-trap her all day for days in a row as he fights off a virus, and buying him all his favorite books and toys.. Z truly loves his Nana, and so do we. My husband and I are regrettably moving to Illinois, and would take Mercedes with us forever if she would let us. Unfortunately, we have to part ways (for now). We only wish that the next family that is lucky enough to make her part of theirs will share her again with us someday when we return!
