Learning should be an exciting journey! I am a certified teacher with seven years of experience, and I create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, not just memorization. I actively listen to students and observe their initial interactions with new material, varying my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. Regular communication with parents is essential for understanding student needs and progress. Celebrating small successes and breaking down complex problems into manageable steps builds momentum. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I can help with Math at the Elementary and Middle School levels. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
