About Mia

Hello! My name is Mia and I have been a fourth grade teacher for the past six years in Framingham, MA. I also have four years' experience teaching first grade. I possess a B. A. in Psychology from Boston University and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Boston College, where I also became certified in teaching English as a Second Language (K-6). I am excited to offer summer tutoring to elementary students through mid-August. I am passionate about making learning exciting and I enjoy utilizing creative teaching strategies to build understanding and to help children develop a love of learning. My strengths lie in building positive, trusting relationships with children. Additionally, I have been extremely successful in solidifying the phonics and math skills that young learners need to be successful.
