About Mia

I grew up caring for my younger siblings which has given me so much knowledge on childcare. I grew up watching my sister who is 6 years younger than me and my brother who is 8 years younger than me. While I do not claim to be a medical professional, I have experience caring for children with Type 1 Diabetes as my sister was diagnosed when I was 13 years old. I am a postpartum doula as well as a lactation education counselor who is working on completing their training to be an IBCLC. I have cared for children of all ages and feel comfortable with infants. I'm very active and try to keep kids away from electronics to spend as much as they can on their feet exploring the world around them. I speak both English and Serbian. I graduated college and majored in public health. Family is very important to me and I love working with the whole family to make sure everyone is taken care of!
