About Mia

I have 2 years of childcare experience, beginning with part-time work at my aunt's daycare where I cared for infants through preschoolers. More recently, I worked as a short-term nanny for two families: in New York City, I cared for a 2-year-old with responsibilities including diaper changes, meals, and daily outings, and in Washington, DC, I was a shared nanny for three children (ages 2, 4, and almost 6), where I managed nap times, took them to the park, library, and zoo, and kept them engaged in fun activities. I also have tutoring experience with children from early elementary through middle school in subjects like math and reading. I speak some Spanish, enough to communicate comfortably with children and families. I am now a junior in college and looking for part time work, occasional babysitting or tutoring opportunities.
