About Michaela

Hi! My name is Michaela, and I just moved to Alameda from Walnut Creek. I've been caring for children of all ages for over 15 years, and working with kids has always been one of my greatest joys. I started babysitting when I was young and quickly realized how much I loved being a part of a child's growth and everyday moments. Over the years, I've also worked as a camp counselor, where I learned the importance of patience, creativity, and keeping things fun. I'm a non-smoker, dependable, and always bring a calm, positive energy to the families I work with. I love creating a safe and imaginative space where kids can learn, laugh, and just be themselves. I also believe in open communication with parents whether that's daily updates, quick texts, or regular check-ins so you always know how things are going.
