About Michaela

I worked over four years at day care in North Pole, Alaska. I have experience with all ages groups from diverse backgrounds. During my time there I: assisted in developing curriculum in accordance to the children's specific needs, helped with researching information for children's activities and devising activity programs, assisted teachers and managers with the psychological, intellectual and personal needs of the child, prepared and served meals and implemented behavior modification techniques as instructed. I also have personal experience with children in my own family and take care of them often, one 2-year-old and one 7-year-old. January 2019 - June 2019. I worked for a family full time as a nanny. One 6-year-old and one 8-year-old. This included driving them to/from school, taking them on adventures, cleaning around the house, and making meals. I thrive on keeping things fun but functional.
