I have always loved caring for people, especially the elderly. My grandma was always my very best friend. I loved going to eat with her, running errands together, our long conversations, and all the life lessons she taught me. She had a stroke several years ago that left her bed-bound and completely dependent on others. I learned to help her by bathing her, feeding her once she could eat from a spoon/fork, dressing her, helping her from her bed to the wheelchair and back, and being her companion so that she wouldn't be sad or lonely. It was one of the most rewarding times in my life.
