About Michelle

I have 3 years work experience as a senior companion and elder caregiver, and I have a lifetime of personal experience with dementia as well as those who are intellectually and/or developmentally disabled. I am an empty nester and my schedule is relatively flexible. I offer my services as a Companion; transportation, errands and shopping, light housework, light meal prep, company and conversation, and I am happy to accompany to appointments, errands, social engagements, and outings. I am very well liked by my clients, and I am proud of the job I do, and so glad to be of service. I am polite, patient, humorous, and able to connect with others from various backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. I accept jobs of two or more hours, I travel within a 25 mile radius of downtown Durham, my hourly rate is $25/hr until 6 p.m. and $30 after 6pm, as well as weekends. If using my car during the job, I charge $. 65/mile.
