About Michelle

Hi there! My name is Michelle, and I am a biochemist. I have a passion for teaching a myriad of subjects, but my heart truly lies in teaching math and science (particularly chemistry, but I do have the "bio" in my degree for a reason!). I have experience teaching math from Algebra to Calculus I, Chemistry 1 and 2, Biology, Biochemistry, and Physics I. I was a tutor for 3 years in college for both individuals and groups. I frequently made games for my students to provide a more fun and engaging learning experience. I also taught college level chemistry while I was in graduate school. I led students in completing experiments, assisted with lab reports (both the writing and the technical side), as well as reviewed critical concepts from the lecture portion of the class. I also provided my students with additional resources and practice problems to help them study.
