Growing up I helped take care of my brother with cerebral palsy. I learned what foods he could eat, how to feed him, get him in/out of his wheelchair, daily physical therapy, communicating using modified sign language or his Touch Talker machine. 11 years ago my husband retired from the military and I became his caregiver. I scheduled all his appointments and accompanied him to them, called in/picked up his medications, administered them on a daily basis, and managed all his paperwork. I learned to navigate through the VA medical system getting him set up with the help he needed. This enables him to function independently and allows me to, once again, join the workforce. I am currently certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED until 07/08/2020.

Michelle was hired to help my 84 YO mother with light housecleaning, meal prep and shopping. Michelle, at first, came to Mom's house 2 days a week and was a welcomed resource. She and Mom hit it off right away and she became a trusted advisor and friend for Mom. They were able to have both a work relationship as well as a deep friendship. Mom has moved to Missouri now but she and Michelle talk a few times a week. I highly recommend Michelle! She is conscientious and a hard worker. Darrin F.
