Experience: 3 yrs
I have 3 years experience caring for my Mom who was diagnosed with Dementia. I don't have any formal training but I was her primary caregiver and was in charge of all her medical visits and medication when she was at home and after she moved to her Assisted Living facility. It was the best time of my life to be able to be my Mom's caregiver. I would love to be a Senior Companion. I loved caring for my Mom. That experience taught me to have much compassion and patience for Seniors. I enjoy walking, painting and drawing or reading or any other fun activities. I am also willing to do light housekeeping. I am looking for a part time (flexible hours) position as an in-home companion for a Senior between 10 to 12hours a week to start. I prefer afternoons Monday- Wednesday 1-3pm, Friday 1-3 and Saturday 1-3pm
