25 plus years in senior care has shown me the profound impact compassionate support can have. My graduate degree complements my practical experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Home Health Aide. I am also trained in CPR and First Aid. I provide respite care, live-in care, transportation, and hospice services. I also assist with errands, shopping, personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I'm experienced in dementia care, medical management, and mobility assistance. I have learned over the years to adapt to changing routines if needed and confusion needs to be handled with patience. Creating a comfortable environment, respect and supporting self independence (as varied) is imperative. Communication with family, friends and loved ones is based on your preference. Supporting this community their families, friends and loved ones is who I am and what I do. As well , I have worked with cognitively, emotionally and physically impaired young adults.
