About Mich

I'm a Brazilian Veterinary Assistant with one year of experience at IBAMA, a major wildlife rehabilitation center in Brazil. I have a strong background in animal care, having worked with both domestic and wild species. My passion has always been to become a veterinarian, but due to financial reasons in Brazil, I was only able to complete the Veterinary Assistant program. Still, I feel very fulfilled working with animals - caring for them and helping in their recovery gives me a deep sense of purpose. I currently care for six dogs and four cats and have participated in several volunteer projects helping rescued and foster animals. I'd describe myself as responsible, passionate, and dedicated. My main skills include animal care and handling, observation and health monitoring, and empathy and patience when working with animals of different temperaments.
