About Miciah

Hi! I am available in the evenings/overnight at about 5:30 and most weekends (all day). I'm located in the noda/uptown area. I am a nurturing and experienced childcare provider who loves creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children. My journey in childcare began with fulfilling babysitting roles and helping at a home-based daycare as an elementary school student! It was there that I discovered my natural ability to connect with children. I am patient, calm, and have a friendly demeanor. I previously worked with children full-time at a local library as my daytime job. I keep parents regularly updated about their child and any issues that arise using their preferred communication method. I am comfortable and consistent in enforcing household/behavioral rules, ensuring that children understand and respect boundaries. I enjoy engaging children in a variety of activities that promote their development.
