About Mikayla

Hi my name is Mikayla! I am majoring in Communication disorders to become a speech language pathologist and will be a junior at New Paltz University. My career in nannying began volunteering at a at home daycare in California during the summers. Then, locally, I volunteered at Cornwall Town Camp until I was old enough to work there at 16. I worked there for four summers and loved playing/supervising with the campers. I have been professionally babysitting for four years. My experience includes caring for young children with special needs. I also was a lead teacher at the Newburgh armory unity center and have taught lessons to preschool students for my Girl Scouts silver award. When I am not taking care of children, I take care of animals! I recently rehabilitated orphaned baby birds and now have baby chicks!
