About Mikayla

Hi! I'm Mikayla, a New York State Certified Teacher and early childhood educator with experience supporting children from newborns through early elementary ages. I've worked as both a Lead Teacher and Education Manager, where I designed learning activities, supported early literacy, and helped children build confidence, language, and social-emotional skills. I also have experience providing nurturing, individualized care for infants and toddlers, with a focus on consistent routines and responsive caregiving. My approach is warm, calm, and play-based. I believe learning happens through hands-on exploration, conversation, and connection - whether we're reading stories, doing sensory play, getting outside, or simply following your child's curiosity.
