About Mikayla

Bonjour! Is your child struggling to learn french after summer break? Are you an adult finally pursuing your dream of learning another language? My name is Mikayla and I am here to help you! After completing my french degree in 2025, and living in a francophone nation, I can confidently say that I've been there before - I know learning languages is often not very intuitive and sometimes downright difficult, particularly for those who are just beginning! I'm here to make learning fun and comfortable. I provide a safe and welcoming setting that encourages fluidity and mistakes. The ability to be wrong eliminates the stress that comes with grading, and the need to be right to maintain a good grade. What's more, when we make mistakes, we are more likely to learn from them and remember what we've learned. This is a judgment free zone, we were all beginners at one point!
