About Miriam

I am a warm, well-educated, patient and capable woman with 15+ years of solid child care and house management experience. After a successful career in publishing (children's book designer, illustrator, award-winning writer and editor), I became a full-time nanny during the recession. Having worked since 2009 as a nanny I am now looking for a position as an assistant to a family with older children. I am an excellent cook, dynamic organizer, generally a good person to have around. I am energetic and healthy and would ideally like to find a cook/organizer/childcare position. I find that my rather carbonated sense of humor, creative streak and high energy make me good company for kids of all ages, and my domestic abilities assure you an organized home and wonderful dinner when you have finished your day.
