Being a homemaker with a servant's heart, cleaning and organization come natural to me. My reward is knowing that I am a good and faithful servant, and a job well done. I genuinely enjoy cleaning peoples' homes and consider it a real blessing. Forgive me for bragging for a moment but my customers love what I do too:) I am professional, trustworthy, reliable, and aim to please. I don't shy away from any tasks, don't over-book myself, but keep a steady schedule, giving my customers my 100% best. I bring my own cleaning supplies, unless of course, a customer insists I use theirs. I am 50 so I have plenty of cleaning experience and knowledge that I have gained. Before Monica came for the interview my family and I cleaned the house for hours since it had been a few months since we had a full time housekeeper (despite searching).  

My wife and I went over our house with Monica for over an hour.  We went over everything and we were on the same page.  She even interacted with our children on their preferences regarding where they place their dirty clothes and so on.  

We have a large house, we told her that we will take the hours we can get from her each week (4 hours up to 9).  She can break it up to two days like our previous housekeepers. She was talking about maybe three days 3 hours per day.  We were fine with that.  However, I reiterated that we will take what we can get and that it will be up to Monica to figure out a schedule that works for her over several weeks. 

Monica came the next day (Tuesday) to work her first shift.  She was here for around 3.5 hours.  My wife was at the house at the same time. Monica was making comments about how she had hoped to get more done than she was able to during that time.  My wife reassured her that it's no problem and for her do to what she can since it's a large house. 

Monica was supposed to come the next day but instead we received a message that Wednesday morning that the job is too big for her and she can't help us at all.  We messaged her saying how we felt she was absolutely helping us and that we appreciate her work to a high degree.  No response from Monica. 

The problem here is that she got our hopes up, promises were made, and then she canceled on us b/c if she can't get the whole job done in one day, she doesn't want to do it at all.  She was the one saying she could do two or three days per week.  She had messaged us with two weeks of her schedule she was going to do.  But after one day, she gave up.  She wasn't the professional or service provider she claimed to be. 

This was a big time wasted for us and now we wished we didn't interact we her at all from the start.  We had rejoiced with our children and close friends that we finally had found someone really good. 

The search continues....

I have known Monica for many years. She is detail oriented and hard working. She has provided emotional support to me and is a dedicated Christian. She truly has a way of making me feel better when I need it. She has also cooked, provided house-keeping services and painted both walls and furniture.
