Experience: 10 yrs
I love to cook, craft, and bake. I have 10+ years of experience. My goal is to provide stability and do what you would. I am finishing out two years with a family with children aged 5, 8, and 11 for two years. I cared for them and the home. I scheduled, worked with specialists, meal planned/shopped, cared for up to 8 pets, helped with laundry and more. I cared for one 20-month-old for one year. That included daily care and appointments. I was a nanny for a family with children aged 6, 8 and 10 for four years. I did weekly overnights, 72 hour shifts and more. Previous to that I was a part-time nanny for the a family for 2 years. I watched their three girls; infant, 2 and 4. I would feed, get ready, do naps and bedtime. I cared for a family that had children aged 2 and 5, for five years. I did daily care, bedtimes, meals, vacations and general care.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Morgan. Finding someone we trusted completely with our baby was our top priority, and she exceeded every expectation. We'd had a couple of nannies before who weren't dependable, so it meant everything to us to find someone reliable. She was always on time, kept us updated, and we never once had to worry about whether she'd show up or how things were going. Though Morgan let us know that she didn't have much recent experience with infants, she was a natural. Right from the start, she was so gentle and tuned in to our baby and just knew what needed to be done. Whether it was calming him down, feeding, or getting him to sleep, she made it all look easy. She celebrated milestones right along with us and sent pictures and took notes during the day, which meant so much. Morgan went above and beyond in little ways that really stood out to us. Cleaning wasn't part of her job, but she'd do things like wash baby bottles if she saw them sitting in the sink. And while she was mainly there for our 5-month-old, she made a point to connect with our 4-year-old and 2-year-old as well. One thing we really valued was how she made an effort to understand what worked for our family. She'd ask questions like whether we wanted contact naps or crib naps, and then did her best to follow through on our preferences. We also appreciated that she let us do things our way but was always happy to offer her thoughts when we asked. When she had ideas or advice, she shared it in a way that felt helpful, not pushy. Any family would be lucky to have her.
