In one role, I provided compassionate in-home care for a professional family where the husband was a doctor and the wife was elderly and unwell. My responsibilities included: • Offering companionship and assistance while her husband attended to errands, work-related duties, or took personal time outside the home • Supporting nighttime care needs, including helping her safely transfer and use the bathroom during overnight hours • Monitoring comfort levels and promptly communicating changes to her husband • Ensuring the home environment remained calm, safe, and reassuring Both daytime and overnight shifts.
