I've been familiar with the work that goes into caring for a home for as long as I can remember. My mother was a house cleaner, and during the summers growing up, she would take me along to her jobs. She taught me everything I know - from the right way to tidy a space to the pride that comes with leaving a home sparkling. Years later, during the pandemic, I was nannying for a wonderful family who needed extra help around the house, and I naturally stepped into the role of their housekeeper as well. Twice a week, I handled deep-cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, scrubbing bathrooms, cleaning kitchens, and changing linens. I also helped organize closets and the children's craft and toy areas to keep their space functional and peaceful. I take genuine pride in my work, and nothing makes me happier than finishing a job knowing every corner is fresh, clean, and shining.
