About Mya

For eight years, I've had the joy of nurturing children's curiosity and development. My passion for caregiving stems from seeing children thrive, and I'm excited to support families by offering dependable childcare. I hold a college degree in Botany from FIU and am currently going to school to become a Functional Nutritionist and have completed coursework in Early Child Development during my high school years. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I'm patient, creative, and approachable, and I love engaging children with outdoor games, educational activities, and crafts. I am comfortable caring for 1-3 children at a time depending on the age range. I provide regular updates to parents via text or phone and always follow their lead regarding household rules. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping and meal preparation. Knowing I can make a positive difference in a child's life brings me immense satisfaction, and I look forward to the opportunity to do the same for your family!
