About Naima Michela

Hi families! I'm Naima, a Brooklyn native with over five years of childcare experience. I know the trains and the city extremely well, and I'm comfortable with school pick-ups, after-school routines, and taking kids around town. I'm currently earning my BFA in Ceramics, and I love bringing art into childcare through crafts, creative play, and hands-on projects. I've tutored students, helped with homework, and kept kids engaged with board games and activities. I'm especially good at getting kids off screens because I genuinely enjoy playing and being present with them. I'm experienced with simple meal prep, light cleaning, and creating a calm, fun environment. Families describe me as responsible, warm, and easy to communicate with.
