About Nancy

I've worked in special education at Norwich Public Schools for 15 years. I've helped teach science, life skills, job coaching. After retirement I did home tutoring for a 6th grader. I've helped with setting up resumes, learning how to budget money for shopping for groceries. I've taken the kids to the store and actually gave them an allowance for shopping and they had to stay within that allowance. Picking out their items before they went to the store. finding where the items were located in the store. I've also just got done with a job with an autistic 22-year-old young man. Till he got placement into lighthouse. Teaching them life skills, meal prep, shopping skills laundry skills , healthcare skills. I love what I do. I like the outcome when I see someone being successful with all of their challenges that they have. It's a very rewarding and loving job.
