About Naomi

I absolutely LOVE children, particularly infants, because they learn so quickly and are so interested in everything around them. Although my professional training has been in secondary school teaching (I have a Masters degree in Teaching and a Bachelors in English), I have always preferred to work with very young children. During high school I worked in a local day care program, and during college I was an assistant teacher at another local childcare facility, working with all ages from 3 months to 5 years. (I spent my breaks in the Infant Classroom, holding the fussy babies). I have worked at summer camps as a counselor and art teacher for 5 years, and I love planning innovative, educational activities for the kids in my charge. I am completely unafraid of behavior issues and have particular experience working with children with ADHD. I have a lot of energy and a wealth of ideas for projects and experiences for the children I care for. I am also very patient, and I have no problem waking up early in the morning. I would love to provide a fun, educational year of growth and discovery for your children!
