I have previously trained dogs to learn basic safety commands (e. g., sit, come here, etc.) using positive reinforcement. I have also walked pets for people I have cared for. I have provided water and food to cats and dogs. I have cleaned up after pets. I have provided cats and dogs with attention. I have used animal toys to keep pets engaged. I have helped bathe and dry small dogs. I have also helped families care for their animals (dogs, cats, birds, and fish) while they are on vacation. I have assisted with notifying senior clients when dogs need a vet visit. I have assisted with driving dogs to the vet when needed. I am very aware of basic needs for animals. I have assisted animals by modifying their environment to help them feel confident, welcome, and happy in their own home.
