I've been a tutor for 9 years. I started off volunteer tutoring first graders in all subjects with Give Every Child a Chance and progressed to teaching high schoolers in English and math subjects ranging up to calculus. Currently I teach K-5th graders how to read through a special program in Berkeley. I have also completed a minor in Math and a Science Education for K-12th grade curriculum. I not only I love tutoring children, I know a number of different techniques to help scaffold learning in kids and make learning fun. I mainly work with elementary schoolers but I do have a lot of classroom experience with high schoolers as well.
