About Nia

Hi there! My name is Nia and I am currently in my senior year pursuing a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. I truly enjoy helping others learn and have experience tutoring students in math, science, and English. My strongest areas are math and science, but I also love working on reading and writing skills. I have worked with learners of all ages, from young children to college students, and I enjoy figuring out the best way to explain a concept so it really clicks. I consider myself a patient and encouraging tutor who understands that everyone learns differently. I am available for in-person tutoring in the Washington, D. C. area as well as online tutoring anywhere. My schedule is flexible and I am happy to work with you to find times that fit best. Outside of academics, I also enjoy arts, crafts, and volunteering!
