About Nia

Patient tutor, childcare provider, and happy lifelong learner with experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds. I also have experience working with neuro divergent children/adults (adhd, autism, etc.), students with physical and/or mental health conditions, and other disabilities. I hold two BA degrees in psychology and sociology and I have (almost) completed graduate work in mental health counseling and school counseling! Fun fact: I also have a dog in training to be a therapy dog + service dog! I would be more than happy to include him in facilitating tutoring sessions as he is task trained to mitigate mental health condition symptoms (ex. overstimulation, anxiety, panic attacks, self injurious behaviors and more) should you be interested :) I also love music therapy/ have been playing guitar since I was 4!
