About Nia

I like working with children because I value their honesty, creativity, and natural curiosity about the world. I love being part of their growth, whether it's helping them understand new ideas, make sense of the world around them, or navigate their emotions. So many adults struggle with emotional awareness, and I want to help bridge that gap early by supporting every child who crosses my path. I started working with kids the moment my siblings were born. I basically had a front-row seat to raising both my brother and sister. From there, I went on to work at the YMCA, and that only confirmed what I already knew: I genuinely enjoy working with children. Eventually, I took the leap and became a teacher In my spare time, I like to visit museums and frequent jazz clubs. (Visit Zinc for great Bossa Nova!)
