About Nicholas

I'd describe my personality as curious, honest, and detail-oriented. I like working with animals because they're fun to be around. I feel like humans are a lot more complicated to interact with. Animals don't have confusing social etiquette so it can be relaxing to spend time with them. I've been caring for animals since I was a child. Growing up, my family's house was always the one that the wildlife and stray cats would flock to, probably in part due to the pond we had in the backyard. By the time I hit adulthood we had taken in around 30 stray cats, as well as rescued baby raccoons, squirrels, and opossums, which we brought to wildlife rehab centers. In my spare time, I like to garden, hike, read, go running, play Dungeons And Dragons, and make art. My skills include playing with pets, walking them, and calming them down.
