Nicole is incredibly reliable, honest and genuinely cares about the kids she watches. She’s been with us for 3 years and she treats my boys like her own kids. She is very flexible and is willing to do activities, park- whatever to make it fun for them!

Nicole responded to my nanny posting I posted when I was still expecting.  While I posted quite early, I thought Nicole would be a great match because she was living out of state at the time with plans to return to NJ around the time I would need her to start (which helped to alleviate my concerns that she might find another gig in the interim).  Plus, our meet and greet went very well and she had great references.  We entered into a contract and I gave her a $500 signing bonus that she would have to repay within 3 days if she terminated our arrangement prior to starting.  She ended up moving back to NJ shortly after signing our contract and while I worried she might find alternative arrangements, I was hopeful she would honor our contract or at least be transparent with me should she wish to terminate.  Our baby ended up arriving 2.5 weeks early and I texted her upon his arrival as we might need her to start earlier than anticipated. She responded that she had found temporary work and would not be available any earlier - fine, I can understand honoring her new commitment. But when I further tried to get a commitment re: her start date she got funny and sent me mixed messages, asking about the tax breakdown, which I had already defined quite clearly in the contract. It was clear she was having doubts, but she was beating around the bush.  I was very direct and asked her whether she found a better arrangement, requested that she tell me as soon as possible, at which time she finally admitted she had. She also acknowledged that she'd have to repay the $500 signing bonus, but asked for more time to repay it as she had already spent it. While I can understand finding a higher paying arrangement and wanting to terminate ours, the way Nicole handled this situation was so unprofessional and disappointing.  It's as if she accepted the position as a "back-up plan" to ensure she'd have at least one prospect upon her return to NJ.  Then, when she found a better deal, rather than be transparent with me (because she had already spent the signing bonus and didn't yet have the money to repay it), she let me think all was going to proceed as planned until I tried to pin down a committed start date with an amendment to the contract.  She wanted to string me along because she knew she couldn't repay the signing bonus just yet. She did repay the money after a couple of weeks, but the unprofessionalism she showed makes me grateful it worked out this way in the end.  I am now relieved not to leave my kids in the care of someone so shady and unprofessional.

Nicole was wonderful! She was very flexible with my super early morning and my 14-month old son loved her! I would definitely hire her again, and just wish we were located closer so I could hire her full time!

Nicole was on time and great with the kids. All 3 of my kids loved her and had a great time with her. She sent pictures and kept me updated as to what was going on. She did homework with the kids and some drawing, which I told her they loved. She even did some dishes. I would definitely hire again.

She is very engaging with the child. She is experienced and reliable. I already recommended her to a few of my friends.

Nicole is amazing!  She got on great with my two boys, and they always ask when she can come back. I appreciated that she sent me pics throughout the day. She also would write down if we were running low on something, which is so helpful because after a long day, remembering to check how many fruit cups we have left is not high on my to do list. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would!!

Nicole is all around a really great babysitter. She is very reliable and easy to communicate with. She watches our 2 year old and is really good about following his schedule. Nicole is also really helpful around the house, which we appreciate so much! We would highly recommend Nicole.

Nicole is great. My daughter absolutely loves her and we do too. She is creative, fun, great with our daughter and dogs. She is very dependable. She is also good with dealing with my five year olds sass. She handles situations very logically and maturely. I highly recommend her to any family.

Nicole is wonderful.  She was very interactive with my 9 month old. From first meeting her and through the couple of days together so far, he was happy and comfortable with her.  She goes above and beyond, even cleaning up and helping with the little guys laundry. She is reliable and ready to help when you are in a pinch. We have already scheduled her to come back a few more times and will work with her as long as possible. 

Nicole was great with my newborn and toddler! I was nervous leaving my children with someone for the first time ever but she eased my mind, sent pictures & updated me throughout the night. She came early and was very punctual. She even cleaned my dishes and bottles! Thank you Nicole!!

My daughter loves spending time with Nicole! She is fun, creative and responsible. She also took great care of my pups while I was at work. She is the perfect balance of fun and discipline. My daughter didn't want her to leave!

I hired Nicole to babysit my 9 month old in our hotel room while my husband and I attended a wedding. Nicole was very professional.  She called and confirmed a few days before babysitting and arrived 15 minutes before her start time to meet us and immediately made us feel comfortable. Our daughter was smiling ear to ear when she got on the floor and started playing with her. She sent pictures throughout the night of the baby to make us feel comfortable and our baby was sound asleep when we walked in the door. She cleaned up the toys and the room was nicer than we left it. I highly recommend Nicole and your child is in good hands if you hire Nicole. I would hire again without hesitation! 

I am so very pleased to have found such a nice, dependable, and sweet person to help care for my little guy. He adores her. I would most definitely recommend her to anyone!

Nicole is the best!  In addition to other things that other folks on here mentioned, she notices things and finds ways to help that I didn't even think of.
