Hello, I'm not new to Care. com. I was hire and worked with a family for 5 years caring for their children. The kids are grown, and sadly, I was no longer needed for the 2016 school year. I'm pretty sure you're thinking, why not look for a childcare position?? Honestly, I feel I have more of a connection with the elderly or people who just need help in their daily lives. I would provide excellent care for your loved one. I would help with meal preparation, medications, light daily needs and also pet care needs. I'm an animal lover, so there is no problem with animals in the home. I'm also CPR certified by the American Red Cross and taken Basic First Aid college course in 2015. I also have taken a basic Pharmacology class. Although, I've never had paid experience in senior care, I did volunteer work back in 1993 and 1999/2000 at Friendship Village. I would help in feeding and keeping them busy with games or puzzles. I'm hoping I'm a fit for your family.
