I am a seasoned professional childcare provider with 31 years of experience. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education. I have a nursing and teaching background. I have also been a foster parent. Nina has cared for my daughter for the past 2.5 years as part of a nannyshare.  She began caring for my daughter when she was 4 months old (along with 2 other 4 month old infants).  We eventually added a 4th child to our nannyshare with nina handled w/ ease.  Nina has been a godsend, particularly those first 18 months when the developmental stages go so fast. Nina is an amazing, experienced childcare provider. She has provided care for our now 2.5-year-old son since he was 3 months old. We felt very comfortable with Nina from the beginning based on her extensive training and experience in childcare, along with her warm personality with children. She is very structured in her curriculum with a systematic and routine-based approach. She is very creative, especially when it comes to planning a variety of educational and fun activities for children, which also align with their developmental stage and cognitive abilities. Nina is very reliable, punctual, and has great communication skills with both parents and children, and we would highly recommend her.

Nina was such a blessing to our family. She cared for our daughter in a nannyshare format. She is incredibly intentional and thoughtful about all aspects of care - safety, nourishment, development, routine, milestones, education, logistics, etc. 

Our daughter has flourished in her care. She loves that Nina is consistent, fun and fair. The days are structured similarly and then each month/season has a theme that she uses to guide art, science, play, real-life activities. She has learned so much through this immersive kind of learning.

Nina was wonderful with our son - she was with him from age 4 months until 2 years old. We attribute a lot of his advanced development to the attention and care that Nina provided. She also genuinely loved him and she still comes to watch him and our infant son on occasion!

Nina has been with us for over a year. She has been a wonderful addition to our family. As COVID-19 descended on all of us, my partner and I had to make a tough decision about how we would care for our two year old son and newborn daughter as we both retained our full-time jobs. Daycare remained open and an option, but pushed us outside our comfort zones. That's where Nina comes in!

With a lifetime of experience caring for children in formal and informal roles, Nina has been an incredible addition to our family. 

She has exceed our expectations with her thoughtful approach to care and learning. She's developed a report with our children that's allowed them to flourish in these unusual times. 

Her lesson plays for the day, which are guided by her goals for the quarter are what truly set Nina apart. She brings a thoughtful approach to everything from learning to potty training - always keeping the children's development at the forefront and adhering to their pace of learning.

No call, no show. Even rescheduled the interview twice. Not a good sign of someone that's dependable and punctual.

We interviewed Nina for an occasional babysitting job. Unfortunately our schedules didn't align due to us only needing intermittent babysitting and she was looking for full time. However, Nina impressed me to no end. She was so punctual, friendly, and extremely educated when it came to knowing what our child would need. Nina answered every question with ease and was so easy to talk to. We plan to still use Nina for the occasional date night when she is available! If you are looking for a full-time babysitter I have no doubt Nina would be amazing!

Nina stands out among other Care.com job seekers due to her professionalism, timely responses, and experience.  Although we knew prior to the interview that our schedules were not a good fit, Nina took the time to speak with me and answer any questions I had.  Although we have chosen an alternate route for our nanny position, we plan to keep Nina on our short list of reliable child care providers that can cover occasional evening or weekend hours.

Nina was a wonderful caregiver for our twins when they were 6 mos to 2 years of age. She kept them engaged all day with a "curriculum" of developmentally-appropriate activities. I appreciated her proactive approach to things like nap schedule and dietary changes, paci weaning, use of utensils etc. She always had experience-based suggestions for dealing with these transitions. Most parents pore over parenting books; with Nina around, I didn't have to! 

We interviewed with Nina and found her to be wonderful. She is exceptionally professional! She is intelligent, experienced, motherly, and organized. She will make a fantastic nanny. We chose a different nanny due to our unpredictable work schedule but would feel very comfortable with Nina caring for our daughter.

Nina has been a wonderful caregiver for our 6 month old baby. We choose Nina because she has great knowledge and experience as a caregiver and is very professional.  She is always punctual and has great communication.  I appreciate that she leaves detailed notes for me when I return so I know about feedings, diaper changes, naps and what activities they have done together.  It is such a joy to have a caregiver like Nina and to know our baby is in good hands when we are away. I would HIGHLY recommend Nina as a caregiver.
