About Nissi

Hi! My name is Nini. I'm a freshman in the Honors College at Towson University majoring in nursing. I worked as a Peer Writing Tutor at Hagerstown Community College the entire year, where I also earned my associate's degree while finishing high school. In my time as a tutor, I earned my CRLA International Tutor Training certification and learned how to balance bettering a student's understanding while also reinforcing their own independence. I've taught all ages, from my own younger siblings to the non-traditional students who came in for help at my college. Overall, I really enjoy helping students understand their work, stay motivated, and feel confident in their learning.
