About Noelle

I attended SDSU where I earned a BA in Sustainability, which focused on viewing environmental issues through different lenses such as politics, social factors, economics, etc. Thus, I have a very well rounded education in many subjects. Currently, my day job involves visiting different schools in San Diego to teach about environmental science via a mixed medium of presentations and hands on activities. About my general experience and teaching style: I'm passionate about getting students excited about learning. I take a collaborative approach by working with them to figure out curriculum together. I've taught a wide age range, including: students as young as TK; those in elementary, middle, and high school; and adults. I want students to be curious about learning. I have experience with students with a variety of learning styles and abilities, and I'm very flexible in adapting my approach. I'm familiar with how to rephrase concepts and ideas when it isn't clicking.
