Hi all and welcome to my profile! My name is Nora, and I have a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Alverno College which I obtained in 2014 (I am a nationally board certified Music Therapist). Piano was my main instrument of study during which I studied for 7 semesters and performed my senior recital on. I also have a "Teaching Elementary Piano" certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music, though I don't solely use this method when teaching. I started teaching in the beginning of 2019 and only wish I started sooner as I've really been enjoying my students grow in their success and love for the instrument! I studied beginning and intermediate guitar (no bar chords) while in college and currently teach beginning guitar as well. In college, I was a music theory tutor at two universities and may be able to help you in this subject as well. Please contact me with any questions!
