About Nora

I like working with animals because it makes me happy. I have grown up with all sorts of animals including dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, a hedgehog, horses, and at one point we even had a goose. Now as an adult, I only have one dog due to our small living space but pet sitting allows me to spend time with more animals which I love. The thing that I love most about working with animals is that the most basic things bring them so much joy. For example, when I give my dog an empty plastic water bottle, he goes absolutely wild and thinks that's the best toy ever. I started working with animals when I was 16. I grew up with animals but I actually started getting paid for pet sitting when I was 16. At 16 I had just got my permit and I was able to drive which helped me to do pet sitting jobs. Since then I have done pet sitting for family members, friends, and coworkers. In my spare time, I like to hangout with my own dog. His name is Mellow and in 2022 I adopted him from a humane society.
