About Nyah

I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, flexible, adaptable and calm. I like working with kids because they bring me joy. I've worked in a school for the last two years and have enjoyed being with the early childhood ages between 2-5 years old. Children have so much wonder, creativity, imagination. Ive learned so much from children and hope to learn more and grow alongside them as I have been doing. I started working with kids when I was an intern at Headstart my senior year of college. After that, I worked as a receptionist at a pediatric dental office. For the last 2 years, I have been the Operations Assistant for an Early Learning Center at a private school in New York City. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, and explore the all hidden corners of NYC. I am currently working towards my MSW at NYU and hope to become an elementary school social worker upon graduation. My skills include patience, communication and creative problem solving.
